Pirate Chair

The original chair is a Prie-Dieu found in Oudemolstraat. The chair is made of wicker and wood and the seat (wicker xas very damage). After a first layer of white painting and strong consolidation of the seat, the chair was transformed into a pirate chair for little Timeo.

The seat was strengthen with papier maché and glue and a compas painted. The rudder has 4 handles and is fixed to the top armrest with a heavy screw. The handles are covered with rope and painted in black. Front of the chair. Rope is covering some part of the chair as well but vernished this time to give a naval aspect. A pirate, 2 sharks, crossed pistols and rhum bottles decorate the front of the chair

 The top armrest is a pirate map with, of course, a treasure island, some misterious places and a boat. Everythink to please captain Timeo!

Hippie Chair

This chair was a command forlittle Emma (6) and little Livia (1). Now they have both a Hippie chair to seat on!! Emma's chair is flowered and the lower part is cover with baba-cool/hippies tissues. The whole chair is very colorfull.

Livia has her own chair like her sister. We find the same canevas (sun, colombe, flowers, butterfly...) on the two seats and the colors are the same

Cameroon Chair

This chair was made for little Felix, a young boy with Cameroonian roots. Now he has his throne!

 

 Two long frescos (Putumayo style) are painted on the backrest. You can see animals (snake, elephant, zebra, fish...), cameroon flag and other cameroonian symbols.

 The seat is made of a giant turtle surronded by fishes and a girafe style background. This turtle is very confortable for the little African King.

Azur Playground

The chair and the table before the customisation. Both are good quality and in a good shape. This project is for the little man named Azur. He is around 4 and fond of cars. So vroum vroum, let's go!


















Four wheels have been put on the chair and some paintings added.

The idea is to recreate a city on the table like the "Majorette carpet". Now the table is a real city with a police station (and the big fat cop), a hospital (and a wounded teddy bear), some houses, a school, a fire station and a lot of animals.

The table is vernished with a strong vernish used for kitchen and boats.

Teddy Bear Chair

This chair was given by a friend. The shape is very classical and I wanted something visually atractive. I sewed the teddy bears all together and I used safed plastic strings. The whole structure is very strong.

The chair is very confortable and cosy.

The chair is covered with more than 30 teddy bears of all sizes, colors and shapes

Princess

The original chair before the tranformation into a princess. This chair is made of a green hard plastic. An adult can easily seat on it.

Few layers of paper and glue after, the chair is covered with dozen of coloring. A white dress was attached to the lower part of the chair

A golden belt has been added around the waist.
