Elle
The chair has been covered with famous Elle's covers (around 20) from the first cover in 1945 to Hello Kitty in 2010. Covers are from international editions (Taiwan, Norway, UK, Danmark...)
The borders are topped with orange fur fitting the curvy shape
Original chair
The chair has a round up and curvy shape which will perfectly fit with an ELLE chair.Gaudi
Original chair was found in Scheveningen, it's a rattan chair very strong and quite heavy.
After a nice WE in Barcelona, I decided to customised this chair into a Gaudi chair!
The chair was covered with papier maché to have a nice structure to glue the paper mosaic. I used 3 main colors: blue, red and yellow and in each color I used between 3 and 7 shades. I teared up old newspaper (from Albert Hein), separated the colors and glued to the structure.
The seat and the front are blue, the edge is red and some yellow spots have been added on the armrest and the top of the chair.

Hippie Chair
This chair was a command forlittle Emma (6) and little Livia (1). Now they have both a Hippie chair to seat on!! Emma's chair is flowered and the lower part is cover with baba-cool/hippies tissues. The whole chair is very colorfull.
Peace and love symbol, flowers, butterfly covering the first of Emma's chair
Livia has her own chair like her sister. We find the same canevas (sun, colombe, flowers, butterfly...) on the two seats and the colors are the same

Cameroon Chair
This chair was made for little Felix, a young boy with Cameroonian roots. Now he has his throne!
Two long frescos (Putumayo style) are painted on the backrest. You can see animals (snake, elephant, zebra, fish...), cameroon flag and other cameroonian symbols.
The seat is made of a giant turtle surronded by fishes and a girafe style background. This turtle is very confortable for the little African King.
Some details

Tree Chair...
Or the mosaik chair, I really hesitated.
The original design chair was not in a good shape. The black skai was torn on the armrests, the seat was broken and the grey painting not so fresh.
Café de Liège is written on the back in a Art nouveau written style. You can see the green leaves on the left. there are made of paper, glue, iron wire, painted and vernished.
The armrests have been polished several times to give a smooth feeling. Some peebles have been added to break lines and give a "natural" curvy shape at the whole.

After removing the skai and clean the whole, the chair was covered by mosaik. The shape leads the idea of a "vegetal chair" so the basic colors are green, blue and brown.
